he following tips are intended to supplement the
Roman multiplayer tips. I won't be going into detail on the basics here. Scouting enemy
territory, for example, is a must for all three races. The necessary adjustments in the
goods menues can also be generalized.
All of the tips are based on a game with high resources.
The advantages of the
Egypian Settlers:
their
building materials are obtained quickly (stone)
their
fighting strength is doubled by gems
divine
intervention: bowmen to bordermen (bowmen become pioneers)
divine
intervention: fish to meat
General Considerations
...

The Eqyptians have few advantages over the
other races, but they are quite significant in the first minutes of the game. In contrast
to playing the Romans or Asians, playing the Egyptians calls for a fast decision in order
to exploit their advantages. When playing teams, the player with the Egyptians usually
needs support from his teammates during the game.
he Egyptians need large quantities of stone.
Before any military buildings are constructed, sources of stone have to be located and
processed for building. Your first buildings will be for the stonecutters.
The residences are an exception because the
need for free Settlers and carriers grows constantly. For this reason, my first building
is always a medium residence. Check out the conditions of the land before you begin
building. There could be dire consequences if the diggers are busy with the residence too
long.

| The adjustments
for the ratio of carriers, diggers and builders plays an important role in the development
of the game. For the fastest expansion of your colony, you should do a little
experimenting here. |

My first step:
Building a medium residence. More carriers will be needed very soon. |
